I want you to treasure your wedding photgraphs for years and years to come and I feel this is achieved by photographing your genuine and real wedding day moments and emotions.

As a candid documentary wedding photographer, I will photograph you, your friends and your family exactly as you are rather than me continually interfering and asking you to pose in certain ways. Your wedding photographs should represent the story of your actual wedding day, not how I think it should be.

I want you to not just love the wedding photographs when you first see them but I want you to see them as invaluable memories for all time and this is why I value photographing the real, true and genuine emotions and moments.

I can’t stress this part enough – your day means everything to me and I approach every single wedding with the same enthusiasm, motivation and dedication.

I’m not an agency. What you see here is what you get and I will be there on your important day, not someone else I send without you knowing.

For peace of mind, all of my photos are backed up the very instant I press the shutter button and i’ll carry backup equipment in the event of gear failure. I’ll even be hand polishing my lenses the night before while listening to some Roger Cicero…

I pride myself on not only beautifully catching the big moments but also photographing all the small in-between ones too , which you probably don’t even notice on the day. No second of your special day is too small or too insignificant for me.

Photography isn’t ‘just a job’ for me. It’s my passion. It’s my happy place.

It is an absolute privilege to be able to photograph so many weddings for my lovely couples.

I love creating stunning images and always strive for the best. I’m keen to always develop and love trying out new techniques and methods.

At least I think so.
While I may be hunting for the most flattering light, or trying to remember where I left my lens cap, I promise you that I am walking around with a smile on my face and a good dad joke ready.

I love working with kids, with grandparents, and especially any animals that might find themselves into your wedding party.
I think i’m kind of funny. My wife disagrees.

I have also been known to join in the party, making sure I capture all those unique photo moments from up close.

My goal is to make your whole wedding photography experience as easy as possible from our initial talk right through to delivery of the wedding photos, and this is where I shine.

Also, I’m really not a fan of having my photo taken either so I get it, I really do. I still remember how I felt getting out of the car before my own engagement photo shoot so if you’re unsure about how to pose, where to stand, or how to smile – just let me know and I can Google some great jokes before your wedding to help break the tension.

I use a brand new Nikon mirrorless camera and lens system.

Not only does this provide me great results but it also allows me to backup all photographs instantly, through the use of a second memory card slot in-camera. This means that all of your photos are backed up in the very moment that I press the shutter button.

Once I am home, the photos will be backed up multiple times again, providing a large safety net in case of equipment or memory storage failures.
